What we believe/
Doutrina
Hillside Millennium Presbyterian Church is a church of the reformed tradition. We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God, we believe in the Triune God, existing in the 3 persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The church uses the following as the foundations of for doctrine: The Westminister Confession & Cathecisms, The Heildelberg Confession, the Belgic Confessions and the Canons of Dort. These confessions are used as a means of how we interpret the doctrines of the Scripture. We accept these confessions as an assistance to us in times of controversy, a confirmation of faith, a standard for church officers, and a means of instruction of righteousness for the body.
A Hillside Millennium Presbyterian Church é uma igreja de tradição reformada. Cremos que a Bíblia é a Palavra de Deus, cremos num Deus triuno que subsiste na pessoa do Pai, Filho e Espírito Santo.
Como base doutrinária a igreja de Hillside usa: Confissão de fé de Westminister & catecismos, Confissão Belga e a Confissão Heildelberg e os Cânones de Dort. Essas confissōes são usadas como pontos de referencia para a interpretação da Escritura. Aceitamos essas formas de unidade como ajuda em tempo de controvérsia, confirmação de fé, como padrão para qualificação de líderança, e como um meio de instrução no justo caminho da comunhão.
